""Our Avon B&B recommended this dinner spot as their guests’ favorite and we definitely agree, one of the Best on the Jersey Shore! “seafood specialties taste better than their enticing descriptions. View is spectacular, ambience ‘smart casual', BYOB." "

"This open-air, summer-only favorite smack on the beach in quaint Avon-by-the-Sea shines with fresh seafood and Jersey’s finest farm stand produce. It’s hard to beat the sand-and-surf setting of this open-air seasonal restaurant, in a century-old boardwalk landmark in quaint Avon-by-the-Sea. The season starts with a jaw-dropping Mother’s Day buffet brunch (reserve well in advance) and ends the Saturday after Labor Day. There are few things finer than a summer breakfast of Avon Pavilion’s Jersey blueberry pancakes with a side of cool ocean breezes. At dinner, fresh seafood and local farm stand produce are the stars, supplemented by a handful of steak, chicken or pasta specialties. Bring your own wine or beer, and kick things off with “Bay and Booze Shrimp,” simmered in beer, butter and Old Bay seasoning. Plump crab cakes and the house specialty, a delightfully delicate Dover Sole Francaise, rodare fine choices too. There are no reservations and the lines do get long, so arrive early for prime outdoor seating with no wait."
